 Saoco, Detroit's leading Latin band, is comprised of 9 of the areas most
versitile musicians. Having performed functions for the Detroit Symphony
Orchestra, Ann Arbor Blues and
Jazz Festival, WEMU, and club dates at the
Sky Bar in Royal Oak and the old Music Menu in Greektown, the band has
established a strong presence and rounded out Detroit's diverse musical
culture. Their repertoire consists of original compositions as well as
standard arrangements of popular salsa, Cuban, and Carribean dance tunes.
